I am a writer and teacher with interests in international politics, social justice and the public sphere, and with bylines in Salon, Counterpunch, Alternet, and other publications. I also write on academic subjects, and am editor and co-author of The Force of the Virtual: Deleuze, Science and Philosophy (University of Minnesota Press).

I have taught at The Curtis Institute of Music (2006-2015), University of Pennsylvania (2010-2013), Haverford College (2006-2012), and at art/theory collective Fidget (2011-2012), and was Andrew W. Mellon Regional Fellow in the Humanities at University of Pennsylvania (2009-2010).

Recently transplanted to Czech Republic, I now write on current events with global reach and create theater with Zuzana Smolová.
