Hi, I'm Peter.

I spent more than 27 years serving in law enforcement, where I built my career around investigations, public safety, and leadership. After earning my Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from Marian University, I joined the University of Wisconsin–Madison Police Department and ultimately retired as a Detective/Sergeant. Earlier in my career, I also served with the Cottage Grove Police Department, gaining valuable experience in community policing and public safety.

Throughout my career, I led investigations, managed critical incidents, and worked alongside a wide range of professionals to address complex challenges. I learned that the best decisions come from listening carefully, communicating clearly, and approaching every situation with integrity and respect. Whether responding to an emergency or leading an investigation, my goal was always to protect people and help build trust within the community.

Today, I'm semi-retired and continue to serve others as a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Staying involved in my community remains important to me, and I value opportunities to support people during times of need.

I'm passionate about leadership, organizational resilience, risk assessment, and helping others navigate difficult situations with confidence and professionalism. I believe that trust is earned through consistency, accountability, and a willingness to keep learning.

Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy giving back through volunteer service and sharing the lessons I've learned throughout my career. I hope my experiences encourage thoughtful leadership, meaningful collaboration, and a continued commitment to serving others.
