Dutch Executive with University Degree in Electrical Engineering and over 30 years of international experience in Research, Development, Venture Funding and Innovation Management. Peter worked in several management positions at Royal Philips Electronics, SONY Corporation and Grundig.

In 2005 Peter founded a new independent Research and Innovation Centre in Canada's Okanagan Valley (BC) called ORIC, with headquarters co-located with Canada's only Radio Astronomy Observatory. ORIC manages several technology business incubators/accelerators in the Okanagan Valley to support high-tech start up companies. In December 2010 ORIC merged with OSTEC and became Accelerate Okanagan. Peter currently supports the Okanagan College's Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence to encourage innovation in the cleantech sector, advises startups XCo Tech and Skaha Remote Sensing. He is Board member of Accelerate Okanagan.
