I’m Peter Horowitz and I am the team lead and owner at Horowitz Real Estate. I began my career in real estate over 15 years ago in Astoria, Queens, where I have since built my company. Ever since I can remember, I have always felt compelled to help others and opening Horowitz Real Estate has allowed me to do just that. I quickly realized that this business was all about people, and not just real estate.
It is my belief that the process of buying or selling a home can and should be fun and exciting, and shouldn’t be wrought with stress and tension. As a realtor and team leader, I get to wear wear many hats. I am a salesperson, advisor, advocate, manager, mentor and a coach. My belief is that whatever the job may be, it’s my responsibility to do it right and do it well.
In my free time I love getting my hands dirty in the garden. I also volunteer as a NYC Parks Super Steward and Care Captain for the street trees in NYC. Yes, I know, the name sounds funny but we do great things to help beautify the streets of NYC and help the environment at the same time. Aside from loving all things green, I love to travel, cook and have enjoyed playing the guitar for most of my life.
