Throughout the sixties I worked in photography and studied architecture, I opted for the latter for my day job and continued with photography during my spare time, now retired, my photography takes center stage. Though the methods of image making has changed in the last decade, the demands of striving to attain artistic and technical perfection remain the same “it’s still the artist that makes the image”. My own personal style uses multiple photo’s to build up thought-provoking, often surreal images Inspired by the world around. Images can take months to composed using my own shots, sometimes supported by a combination of stock photo’s to evoke atmosphere, the result is an image that does not quite exist except in my imagination. Impressit editions are then printed using superior archival paper and inks, enclosed in a museum quality mount ready to set into a frame.
