I am an experienced specialist in IT with knowledge of both hardware systems and software. I have worked extensively in pre-sales environments providing technical support to sales teams and involved in the management of key customer accounts in the enterprise space in Ireland and the United Kingdom. In my last full time role, I was a Principal Success Specialist helping Salesforce customers achieve success through their use of their applications. Before that I worked as a Lead Solutions Engineer for Salesforce helping customers improve their business through the use of CRM and other tools. My most recent experience was as a Contact Centre Salesforce Specialist helping a large aviation company implement Salesforce Service Cloud.

My professional expertise includes Systems Analysis, Programming (COBOL and Java), Salesforce Technologies (Advanced System Administration, Force.com Developer Certified, Salesforce Certified Sales and Service Cloud Consultant); Digital Marketing and I was certified as a Microsoft Certified Engineer (MCSE) but that was a long time ago, however, still proud of the fact that I managed to complete 7 tough training modules and finally got that certification.

My interests include photography, hill-walking, orienteering, golf, travel, gadgets, DIY, making videos and video editing, and helping other people through the Salesforce Foundation organisation. Currently starting to put SMART technology into my house. I recently installed a NEST thermostat, which is the first SMART device that I have brought into my home.

Finally, I have a wife and three children who are a lot smarter than me!
