Peter Iverson

Born and raised in rural Indiana, I am a veteran teacher who is now teaching internationally at the American School of Barcelona.

I have worked as a science teacher in grades 6-12 for over 15 years in both the US and abroad. I have experience teaching in the IB DP, IB MYP, IB PYP, as well as AP Environmental Science.

In my current role as high school science teacher, I work with students from Grades 9-12, teaching an NGSS-aligned life and earth science course, as well as IB DP Environmental Systems & Societies. I lead our campus EcoClub and have co-lead

I am half of a teaching team, along with my partner, Fernando Roque de Souza. Prior to Barcelona, we taught at the Pan-American School of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
