I like cooking, eating, travelling, camping, fishing, bike-riding, movie-watching, and joke-making. I collect hats from the different countries I've traveled to, and I'm fascinated by trivia and historical minutiae that make most people roll their eyes or stare blankly. I like black coffee, wool socks, reading the paper, and sharing a good meal with friends and family. I don't like limp bacon, asking for help or direction in the store, or chatty drive-thru baristas.

Food is how I interact with people and show them I care, and I haven't inadvertently poisoned anyone yet - that I know of - so I have a pretty good record.
