Peter Rose
I am an IT Management professional with more than 25 years of IT experience both in end user businesses and within the Value Added Reseller channel. My original career was in electronics design and I became involved in programming using assembler on the first Intel 8085 chips. My engineering background allow me to engineer solutions to solve complex business problems. My ethos is Keep IT Simple.
I pioneer the use of Agile Analysis methods to supplement Agile Development, we so often try to fully specify solutions before we can clearly see what is required, then projects turn into a round of change requests that could have been avoided.
"Minimum Viable Product" is a process by which a product is delivered with a minimum of working features, to allow a user community to get early sight and input into how a product is developed and be attapted to meet their needs.
I have run Red Kite, a Managed IT Services company since 2003, after an MBO out of the Mitech Group (Now Azzurri Communication).
I lead the development of innovative solutions, including applications used by more than 200 call centre agents to assist young drug users; A fully integrated accounting and membership management system, used to collect more than £20M a year in membership fees, and a number of large Contact Centre deployments in various sectors.
I have extensive experience of the deployment of IP telephony and Contact Centre solutions from all of the major vendors, Avaya, Mitel, Cisco and Shoretel.
