Obeng Peter Kwasi has 7 years professional experience in the field of education and youth mentorship. Peter's area of research interests include;
*Inclusive teaching and learning processes
*Diagnostic and intervention in special education needs and learning difficulties
*Pedagogy of diversity
*Educational and social inequality in general and disadvantages and disabilities in particular.
*Educational policy and educational leadership.

He is skilled in quantitative and qualitative research, civic leadership, youth coaching as well as designing and executing educational interventions. Peter holds a BA Social Science Education from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana and a Master of Art in Education, Inclusion and Special Needs from the University of Hull. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI RLC - West Africa) where he studied Civic Leadership at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Peter has a demonstrated history of working with children and their parents to ensure excellence in their chosen fields. Within the past 7 years, Peter has worked with different schools. Having taught in John Madejski Academy in Reading, United Kingdom, T.I Ahmadiyya Girls Senior High School, Oppon Memorial Senior High School, Antoa Senior High School and Gumani Methodist Junior High School under the Lead For Ghana fellowship programme. He is also a former content creator at Eneza Education- Ghana. Peter is well known for his works in shaping systemic challenges that confront schools and in 2018, Peter worked with two other colleagues to help establish a computer laboratory for Gumani Methodist Junior High School

Peter is the Director of Strategy Research and Policy development and a co-founder of Enlightened Society Ghana (a non profit organization that focuses on supporting the vulnerable and children in deprived communities and schools with educational materials, mentorship and career guidance, and providing teachers in these schools and localities with professional development workshops so as to improve the quality of education and to bridge the educational inequity gap.

Peter, is driven by the passion to fight inequity and promoting access to knowledge for all. He remains particularly interested in how education and public policy can be used to positively impact the marginalized in our communities.
