A longtime resident of the greater Boston area, Peter Marfione attended Reading Memorial High School in Reading, Massachusetts, before matriculating at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, to study business administration. While enrolled at Salve Regina, he competed as a member of the school’s varsity hockey team, serving two years as team captain and averaging .32 points per game. Peter Marfione secured his bachelor of arts in 2003 and subsequently began his work as an educator, first as a permanent substitute teacher with Wakefield Public Schools in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and then as a special education tutor with the Concord-Carlisle School District in Concord, Massachusetts.

Currently living and working in North Andover, Mr. Marfione has taught business and economics with North Andover Public Schools (NAPS) since 2008. He is also actively involved with NAPS athletics, overseeing its ice hockey program as head coach and acting as both a site supervisor for boy’s soccer and an event staff member for football games.
