I grew up in Sydney and I 've played the drums since I was 9 years old. Starting with brass bands and orchestras to rock bands, big bands, jazz and funk.
I have played with many high profile acts around Australia and overseas and have supported quite a few big international acts. I've enjoyed a diverse array of musical genres including Japanese and African drumming
I have a fondness for mandolin and piano and have worked as a theatre sound engineer and studio operator and producer. I have been playing with Mission Blues Australia for the last 5 years and now have my own band, The Peter McFarlane Band
I'm happily married and have grown up kids
