Peter Merola

Peter Merola holds diverse professional expertise as a film editor, composer, and videographer. Early in his career, he served with several production firms in New York City, including InterVier and R/GA. He subsequently worked in New Jersey as art director and head editor with Muzac Co. before relocating to Colorado to join AlphaPixel as a creative consultant and designer. Currently, Peter Merola offers a range of creative editing, animating, and composing services on a freelance basis. His major clients include Apple, Disney, MTV, HBO, Nickelodeon, Spike TV, and A&E.

Peter Merola has completed coursework at the New School for Social Research in New York City and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. Experienced with a range of software applications, he regularly utilizes Avid's ProTools and Apple's Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. He holds specialty skills with motion graphics, film scoring, and chroma key compositing. In his personal life, he has contributed to his local community by offering music therapy services to individuals with disabilities.
