Peter Moody

I am currently entering my second senoir semester at East Carolina University. I am an Elementry Education Major, with a concentration in social studies. History and social studies classes have always been my favorite subjects throughout my primary and secondary school career. I will be completing my senoir 2 intern at Wintergreen Intermediate in the Fall of 2011. I have been assigned to a third grade classroom. I really enjoyed my senior 1 and I look forward to starting my senoir 2 at the end of August. I consider myself a very compassionate and humble man. I am very passionate about empowering and educating out youths. My past experiences; good and bad, have inspired me to pursue a career in the education field. I plan on becoming a principal after a few years of teaching and, later in my life, gaining access as a member of the Federal Board of Education. My desire is to make positive contributions to the education profession, in order to help it gain the respect and admiration that I feel it truly deserves.

I love to read. Sincne I have been back in school, however; my reading has been limited to my course texts. My favorite book to read is the Bible. It have so many mysteries and wonders in it. I love to read history books and biographies as well. As a child, my favorite book was "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry."
