Peter-Michael Wilson

Peter-Michael Wilson is a Youth Case Manager at The Union Rescue Mission. He is excited to be doing what James defines as Pure Religion "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world" - James 1:27. He is currently a senior at Columbia College majoring in Human Services, and hopes to one day open a Transitional Agency for foster youth. He is constantly in the word of God, and believes heavily that to die to self and live for God is the definition of success in this life. He has approximately six years of experience working with youth and family oriented programs, and wishes to continue to grow more knowledgeable in this field of work. He believes that God plans and directs his steps, and with that belief he knows he will be taken to whatever height or depth God wills for his life. He knows that his dreams, aspirations, abilities, conscioucness, spirit, soul, and body are all from God; and these unmeritted gifts are what allow him to remain balanced in this unbalanced world.
