I'm a decade-plus seasoned tech-industry veteran smart creative entrepreneur. Three start-ups under my belt, with no failures and over $50M in capital raised. I'm connected to business leaders around the world, and curious about how the world works. I was instrumental in bringing Vitrium Systems, MobSaftey/Smart Fleet and TicTalking to market. Currently, I'm working as COO for publically traded Qwick Media Inc (CSE_QMI). I have a background in retail investments and corporate finance with major Canadian banks and security firms. But connecting people to launch companies is my passion.

I served for seven years on the board of directors and audit committee of the TSX Venture publicly listed Knightswood Financial (TSX-V KWF).

Prior to Qwick Media, I held positions of Chief Executive Officer & Founder of TicTalking, Chairman & Founder of MobSafety/Smart Fleet, Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Vitrium Systems, and positions at the Loreto Bay Company, BMO Bank of Montreal, Yorkton Securities, Midland-Walwyn and Merrill Lynch.

I have spoken, appeared and/or have been interviewed all over the world including: SIIA On-Demand & SIIA NetGain Conferences, New Marketing Summit, Vancouver Island Economic Summit, Tech Zulu, Steamfeed, Sonar Moment, Xplor Global Document Conference, City-TV, CBC Radio, Acadia International Executive Insight Series, Buzz Marketing for Technology, Tech Talk, Room 214, Information Today, StoneTemple, PlanetPDF, PDFZone, Social Media Monthly Magazine, Times Colonist, Vancouver Sun, Edmonton Journal, Ottawa Citizen, Halifax Herald, The Province Newspaper and Start-Up Quarterly Magazine.

I was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, studied at Acadia University, the Real Estate Institute of Canada and the Canadian Securities Institute.
