Peter Noah Thomas

I live in the mountains of Wyoming, close to the Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone National Park. I'm proud of where I live and make posts about the area now and then.

Spending as much time in the parks as possible has always been my way of life, but when I'm not there, you can find me camping on some mountain top or hiking, exploring or getting into some kind of trouble. There's always something new to discover here. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

Traveling is great too. My holidays and vacations involve rafting, fishing, skiing, or some other outdoor activity. A nice tropical beach is always welcome too.

I enjoy museums, so if there's one where I'm visiting, you'll find me there most likely. Hobbies aren't a thing for me, but I enjoy learning about Paleontology and Archaeology, and I've been on a few Dino digs.

I received a degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, but I never followed through with it as a career. When I tell folks that, they say something like; I bet the psychology degree has helped you deal with people though, hasn't it? Not. One. Bit.

When I was a little munchkin, my Grandfather took me to see the trains, and I've loved them ever since. I have a thing for trains. While watching a train snake its way through a canyon or roaring across a prairie is bliss; riding the train is serenity.

Have you ever been on a long train trip? If not, I hope you can do it one day. There is a peace and tranquility to train travel you won't experience anywhere else. It's one of life's most perfect pleasures. Hey, the train at Disneyland is awesome too!
