Student and Volunteer in Gbarnga, Liberia

Read my blog

I am a Liberian and a Student reading Agriculture Technology at the Bong County Technical College. I am passionate about helping to maintain Food Security in Liberia and elsewhere in the world. I currently volunteer for the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of Liberia (a Civil Society Organization), where I serve as a Radio Broadcaster, Youth Advocate, Peer Educator, and Membership Committee Chairman at its Gbarnga Branch. In addition, I also volunteer for several youth organizations like the Youth Positive Transformation Initiative (YOPTI) Inc. where I serve as Communication Officer, and the Girls Empowerment Initiative (GEI) as a General Secretary. I love everyone regardless of who they are, where they come from and what they believe. A dense portion of my interest lies heavily in writing, Human Rights and Advocacy Journalism. I would someday like to become a Civil Right Advocate and Activist. I'm not too sure of becoming a Politician, but by the help of the Almighty God, I would like to establish a Civil Right Movement/Organization which in the future will be focused on building Civic Consciousness, promoting Human Rights & Tolerance, expanding Economic empowerment & Equal opportunities for communities.
