Peter Sahui

Startups inspire me. I'm an MBA student, due to graduate in 2017, with a goal of working in the startup ecosystem - founding my own company, or working with a venture capital firm or an accelerator. I'm learning all I can about startups and management - lean startups, design thinking, marketing, and strategy.

Finance, accounting, and economics hold no fears for me. I worked for 8 years in investment research, focused on Australian equities and A-REITs. That taught me how to look at the big picture - economic and industry trends, company reports, and movements in financial markets - and apply that to an individual business.

Stories enthuse me. Since 2010, I built a blog from zero to 5,000-6,000 hits a month. At law school, I had an article reprinted nationally. And I write fiction as a hobby.

Prior to my MBA, I earned first-class honours in law, a business (Accounting major) degree with distinction, two academic prizes, and the CFA charter.
