Chris Petersen

My name is Chris Petersen and I’m currently studying marketing management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. I enrolled in the entrepreneurship option in order to further develop my sales and managerial skills.

The things I love most in life are philanthropy and world travel. I also have a soft spot for cars. I really enjoy volunteering my time and have done so for many years, and many different organizations. Volunteering gives me the opportunity to network and gain valuable experience, while simultaneously giving back to the community.

I like to surround myself with people who challenge me and allow me to grow. I feel that growth and learning are an important part of life, and we should always be in a constant state of self development.

My dreams for the future are to finish my diploma program, get my Bachelors of Business Administration, and then start, and run, my own company. I would also like to start a non-profit organization for the well being of students in developing countries, and countries where education is not readily available to people that want it.
