The co-founder and manager of the Concord Equity Group, Peter Stokes leads Concord's investment committee and provides advisory services to clients in a diverse range of industries across Europe, the United States, and Southern Africa. He has led the company in its investments and acquisitions, which commenced with Frontiers Capital in 2004. Peter Stokes also serves as the chairman of Concord Training in South Africa which provides specialized training services in the oil, gas, and maritime industries.

Before serving in his current position at Concord Equity Group, Peter Stokes acted as legal counsel for the Carphone Warhouse Group, PLC, in London. His prior experience includes serving as an attorney at Fairbridges, Attorneys, in Cape Town, South Africa. Mr. Stokes earned his Master of Laws degree in commercial law from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where he also received a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in history and private law.

Peter Stokes regularly attends a variety of professional conferences, including the Global Asset Backed Securities Conference in Barcelona and forums on investment at Africa-focused conferences. In his leisure time, he enjoys cycling, skiing, and playing golf and tennis.
