Peter is a computer scientist and a speaker that transforms people and business.
He was confirmed as the General Rapporteur to the 7th African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF2018) that produced an acceptable outcome by over 300 participants (government, civil society, academia, technical community) and the African IGF secretariat under minimal supervision.
On November 2, 2016, Peter was elected as the West regional Coordinator, African Civil Society on the Information Society (ACSIS) to drive an inclusive information society in the West Africa. And recently, he was appointed as the Welfare Director to the board level of National Adult Computer Education that educate the adult about internet solutions and personal securities on computer applications, basic functions and fight against cybercrime by training and updating them with cyber security technics. He currently serves on ACSIS Ecommerce Working Group that is saddled with responsibilities to organize Africa Ecommerce Week that would take place in Nairobi, Kenya from 10th to 14th December 2018.
As a computer scientist, he helps business integrate with the fast technological development and people to develop leadership and character capacity. He founded Compsoftnet Enterprise, a business that provides ICTs services, general contracts and procurement of IT accessories.
On March 6, 2017, He joins Cashlink Leasing Plc as the IT Officer (Group) to provide technical support and advice to enhance business operation and development.
Peter is a resource person to conferences, Workshops and training such as Global, Continental and National IGF, Internet Freedom Forum and a member of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) through Non Commercial Stakeholders Group (NCSG) and Non Commercial User Constituency of ICANN (NCUC). He was also the Internet Governance (IGC) representative to the Nomination Committee of the Civil Society Coordination Group (CSCG) for the IGF Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group. Also, he serves on various working groups within ICANN and outside ICANN environment. Peter is a member of ISOC-NG working groups on Policy and Governance, Infrastructure development, and protocol and standards.
