Peter T. Imbert

A seasoned professional with deep civic roots, Peter T. Imbert served 16 years as Mayor of Amityville and led SCOVA as President before continuing as President Emeritus. He was a four-year varsity wrestler at St. John’s and MVP of the 1977 League Tournament. Peter lifeguarded 14 years for the Town of Babylon and began boating at age 10, later crewing yachts along the East Coast. In 2004, he was honored as “Man of the Year” by the Amityville PBA.
