Life is about the journey home.

Does that sound glib? pretentious? a bit too pop psychology? kinda New Age-y woo woo?

While I recognize that such responses may be a risk I take for opening with what may be considered a sound bite (or, if you're feeling generous, a pithy aphorism), that doesn't take away from my belief that life is about the search for home - the home within our hearts as well as the home that houses our physical bodies.

I first responded to the longing for home through intellectual pursuit, spending years in school as I searched for greater understanding of the human experience.

After years of living in my head, I decided it was time to get into my body. So I changed directions and spent some years exploring the body-mind connection through practicing and teaching yoga.

And then I realized it was time to put my head and my body into a physical space that would honor their continuing growth and wellness.

That led me to become a realtor. Home is where we are nurtured and supported, where we heal and grow, where we love and are loved.

I take my responsibility as a realtor very seriously. The way I see it, what greater honor is there than to help someone find the ideal home where they will grow, love, and become their best possible selves?
