Dr. Paul York is a student affairs professional who has sought to be a generalist in the field with experiences in Title IX, campus conduct, sexual misconduct education and response, civic learning and democratic engagement, emergency response and crisis management, career and professional development, campus activities, residential education, academic advising, first-year experience programming, alcohol & drug education, and campus recreation.
Dr. York is responsible for fostering student leadership development, serving as a student advocate, supporting student growth, responding to student misconduct and students of concern, and developing positive relationships with community neighbors and parents.
In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. York enjoys supporting future student affairs professionals by teaching in the Texas A&M University-Central Texas higher education leadership program.
Dr. York's research interests are in the finance of higher education, access, management of higher education, student indebtedness, and policy development in higher education.
