My main motivation for this blog is to expand my skills by writing about topics outside the comfort zone of my everyday duties but related to my work experience. In an increasingly interconnected world you should never underestimate the value of keeping up to date and learning.

Currently I work as Technical Scientist in the tea industry, mainly coordinating with external contractors analysis of tea for pesticides, microbiology and nutrition and writing reports for internal customers. Previously, most of my work experience comprises of analytical chemistry in the environmental industry preparing samples, working with chromatography, method troubleshooting and GLP.
