Phales Milimo

Phales is a Research Coordinator currently living in Washington, DC. She has a passion for child rights and working towards contributing to helping the most vulnerable.She is also an advocate of the sustainable development goals in ensuring that no one is left behind. As an aspiring world changer, christian and young leader, she has been part of the prestigious young professionals leaders fellowships, Global Health Corps and Atlas Corps respectively. She was also a part of a group of friends that raised money to support different orphanages in Zambia. She believes that God has placed each of us in this world to help the next person that does not have access to basic needs especially children.
She also has a passion in ethical and sustainable fashion and is working towards intertwining her passion for fashion with social issues that she advocates for. She was a model for Maven Women in 2016 for the savvy, sustainable style promotion which was used to raise funds for the month of October to support the impactful work of Becky's Fund, which strives to address domestic violence in all sectors of the community.
Her interests range from project programming to photography, design, blogging, and music.
