Tim Davis

Dr. Davis received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy following a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience with Certificate in Medical Ethics.

He guest lectures at the University of Pittsburgh and has held numerous national positions including Chairman of the McKesson Independent Advisory Board, Chairman of the National Community Pharmacists Association Committee for Technology and Innovation, Chairman of the National Community Pharmacists Association Special Committee on Vision 2025, Board of Directors American Society for Automation in Pharmacy, Chairman of the Pitt School of Pharmacy Alumni Association, and the Health Mart Speaker’s Bureau. Dr. Davis has serves on the eHIT Collaborative Workgroup.

He served on the White House PDMP Workgroup gathered to implement a national design for tracking and sharing of controlled substance prescription drug data. Tim currently serves on the S&I Framework PDMP & Health IT Integration Workgroup. He testified before a Congressional panel designated to explore Track and Trace within the pharmacy supply chain in both 2012 and 2013. He continues to speak at national trade and technology conferences as a regular personality. Most recently, he is included in the speakers bureau as an expert on performance network metrics and actions. Dr. Davis owns 2 independent community pharmacies, Beaver Health Mart Pharmacy and Beaver Falls Health Mart Pharmacy. A third, Rochester Health Mart Pharmacy, is currently under construction. Although he spends his days practicing with his father at the Brighton Health Mart Pharmacy, he also launched the nationally recognized PANTHERx Specialty Pharmacy in 2011.

PANTHERx serves as the exclusive specialty pharmacy access point for many health plans and correctional systems, as well as the entire State of South Carolina’s Aids Drug Assistance Program. His most recent venture is the launch of RevolutionRx, a consulting firm advising on technology and policy.

Dr. Davis has been featured in numerous industry publications and cover stories concerning his patient focused use of technology, including Drug Store News, Distribution Quarterly, Pharmacy Times, Pharmacy Today, America’s Pharmacist, and Drug Topics. His expertise has been resourced and quoted in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Women’s Day, Good Housekeeping, Consumer Reports, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and The Beaver County Times.
