Emmanuel Gwa

I am a Pharmaceutical Inspector/Regulator with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, the government regulator of the practice of Pharmacy in Nigeria - the Profession; Practitioners and the Premises. Previously worked as a hospital pharmacist at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Maiduguri; as a dispensing pharmacist, compounding pharmacist, drug information pharmacist and editor of a drug information newsletter at the hospital. Earlier, worked in Pharmaceutical Marketing as a Medical (Sales) Representative of a Pharmaceutical company; beside a stint in Community pharmacy practice. I am a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) graduate of the University of Jos. I have graduate degrees in Health Planning & Management and Disaster Risk Management; and the Fellowship of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) with specialization in Clinical Pharmacy (Infectious Diseases). Have interest in Health Systems Research and would like to set up a group for this purpose someday and also do some teaching work.
