Phemelo Tau

I am a third-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) student at the University of Johannesburg, specialising in Mathematics and Physical Sciences for the Senior and FET phases. I am passionate about education and aspire to become a teacher who inspires learners to develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine interest in Mathematics and Science.

Through my university studies and teaching practice, I have developed experience in lesson planning, teaching, learner assessment, classroom management and educational technology. I enjoy making challenging concepts easier to understand by connecting Mathematics and Physical Sciences to real-life situations, problem-solving and practical learning.

I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when provided with meaningful opportunities and the right support. My goal is to become a knowledgeable, innovative and compassionate teacher who creates an inclusive learning environment and makes a positive difference in the lives of learners.
