ABOUT PHEONIX TEVIN

Pheonix Tevin, born Tervin Enest Lekhuleni on 18 November 2005, is a South African rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from Phola, Mpumalanga.

His journey began in 2022, when he started performing at local shows and appearing in interviews while building his name within the Mpumalanga music scene.

Growing up, Pheonix Tevin lived in different parts of Mpumalanga, including Mkhuhlu, Oakley, Matsulu, and Phola. Moving between different environments and growing up without a father shaped his perspective, resilience, and determination to create a better future through music and entrepreneurship.

THE NAME

The name Pheonix comes from the streets, where he was known as “Pheo.” When he entered music, he discovered that another artist was already using Pheo, so he developed the name Pheonix.

Tevin is his real name.

Together, the name became Pheonix Tevin — an identity representing his journey, ambition, and evolution.

MUSIC

Pheonix Tevin officially released his music in 2026, with releases including “Get the Money” and “Spend It On Me.”

His sound is versatile, drawing from hip hop, Afrobeat, and other African and contemporary influences. Rather than limiting himself to one sound, he continues to explore different styles while developing his own identity.

SOUTHERN KINGS 🇿🇦 × 🇿🇲

Pheonix Tevin has taken his music beyond South Africa through his collaboration with Zambian artist TK THEE PRINCE.

Together, they are building Southern Kings, a collaborative project connecting South African and Zambian music.

The project features creative contributions from producers including CB and Flex Recordz, with notable music including “SHAWTY.”

Pheonix Tevin's music has also received radio exposure, including plays on SABC stations.

PRINCE OF THE SOUTH

Pheonix Tevin calls himself “The Prince of the South.”

The title represents his ambition, confidence, youth, and determination to make his mark from the South and prove that major dreams can come from anywhere.

He is not only focused on becoming an artist — he is building a brand, business, and legacy.
