Phil Rolfe PT, DPT, ATC

Physical Therapist in Asheville, North Carolina

As a child, I was captivated by human anatomy. This came from my mothers’ fascination with art; in particular, the anatomic creations of Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo. Seeing much of this first hand, inspired and sparked a lifelong interest with form, which lead to a profound interest in the function of the human body.
My first attempt at higher education was a degree in Kinesiology (the study of the mechanics of human movement) and Athletic Training. In the process, I realized my love for the complexities of injury recovery. Since graduating from Physical Therapy School in 1999, I have attended extensive continuing education coursework with a focus on manual therapy. I love the progressive nature of the field of Physical Therapy and take every opportunity to learn. In 2015 I completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy to provide my patients with the most up to date treatment possible. I am currently studying rehabilitative Pilates techniques.
As a Physical Therapist, I am trained to interpret signs and symptoms, coupled with your unique circumstances, to assimilate a safe and effective plan to help you return to your highest level of function. I also trust in the wisdom of the human body and that you often instinctively know or sense what is needed to feel better. Together, we can unlock the pathway to improvement and even new possibilities.
Bodylogic Integrative Physical Therapy was founded in 2017 with the basic understanding that people do better when they are heard, seen and are provided with gentle, intelligent guidance. We want you to come into our comforting environment and feel the sense of a caring family and community.
