Writer in Washington, DC

I write books that directly reflect my own experiences, life as I encounter it. Every book I have published, ghosted, edited or have acted upon as a consultant traces my lifeline. And given the extraordinary gift and diversity of experience, my work is played out in words on paper to be shared by others. Writing as has taken me around the world more than once and introduced me to extraordinary talents--astronauts, aquanauts (of which I am one), writers, artists, philosophers, musicians (of which I am one ), politicians, pirates, treasure hunters, Wall Street "Machers," schemers and scammers, saints and the not-so-saintly; and in everyday reality, virtually anyone I meet captures my attentions and, in various ways and forms, winds up in words, on paper.

A partial list of books (and a film) under my byline:

  • Ruthless: How Enraged Investors Reclaimed Their Investments and Beat Wall Street.
  • Sea of Dreamers: Travels With Famous Ocean Explorers
  • Ancient Wisdom: A Chinese Calligraphers Tale
  • Boys and Their Boys: Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet
  • Where Do We Go From the Moon: The Future of Space Travel
  • Tracking Treasure: Fame and Fortune Beneath the Sea

  • The Bermuda Rock Cruise (in progress)
  • Islands of Desire: Collected Stories (in progress)
