Phila Mchunu

My name is Phila Mchunu, I am a student at the University of Johannesburg currently studying Bachelor of Education. I am 20 years old. I am a passionate and aspiring young student teacher who likes to help other people. My hobbies includes fitness training, football and teaching. I chose teaching profession because I like sharing new information with other people and I like to innovate new things. I enjoy socializing with others as i learn new things everyday. Teaching 21st century learners is biggest dream as I will be utilizing technological tools that are essential for the working industry. My aim is to build students who will become active citizens of the country by equiping them with skills for the 21st century. I am majoring in IsiZulu Home language and History. I believe these majors have a great link as i will teach my learners about their history while promoting the importance of home language.
