I've worked in the telecoms and Internet world for the last 25 years and been part of some fantastic projects. The UK's superfast broadband projects are helping most people take part in the digital world. Whether it's for business, for pleasure or both. Throughout the UK many rural businesses and households are being left behind. For the large internet providers the cost of building networks is just too much to include rural areas. Unfortunately, there's just not enough Government money available to cover the costs - about £5bn short. I work with businesses, communities and individuals who decide to help themselves. And I'm passionate about it!
