Phil Healy of Chicago is a senior analyst in the financial services field with a strong foundation in tax and international finance. He was raised in a bilingual home by a Brazilian mother and an American father, and he speaks English, French, and Portuguese.
Phil earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied Accounting and French. While there, he was active in the student radio station, squash club, and volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club. Phil later earned a Master’s in Accountancy with a focus on Tax Services from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
He began his professional career in 2019 at Deloitte Tax in Chicago, where Phil specialized in multistate tax services. He was promoted to Senior Tax Consultant in 2021, where he reviewed complex tax filings, managed project workflows, and trained junior staff. His work at Deloitte provided a strong base in tax compliance, planning, and restructuring.
Later in 2021, Phil joined GCM Grosvenor as a fund finance analyst. His responsibilities included maintaining ledgers, reviewing quarterly financials, and reconciling cash flow data for private equity funds. He also worked closely with internal departments and third-party accountants, supporting investment and operational needs.
In 2023, Phil joined Invenergy LLC as a senior analyst, focusing on international finance. His role included preparing budgets and projections for renewable energy projects, as well as coordinating with both domestic and international teams. He also managed internal financial transactions such as capitalizations and intercompany loans, and played a role in aligning Chicago-based functions with global offices. Before leaving Invenergy in 2025, he developed expertise in analyzing loan interest rates using Bloomberg data.
His commitment to service has been consistent, dating back to his high school days with Gilda’s Club of Chicago. Phil later volunteered at L’Arche in Forest Park and the Boys and Girls Club during college. He also supported Brave Space Alliance in Chicago.
Away from work, he enjoys following local sports, playing the piano, learning to play the guitar, and caring for two cats.
