Philip Ashton-Rickardt

I’m Philip Ashton-Rickardt, a biotech leader and immunologist based in Boston. I serve as Managing Director and Chief Scientific Officer at BE Therapeutics, where I focus on developing engineered cell therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.

My career started in academia, with professorships at the University of Chicago and Imperial College London. I later moved into biotech to build and lead companies that turn scientific ideas into real treatments.

I’m driven by curiosity, resilience, and the challenge of creating something new and meaningful. I believe in continuous learning and taking progress one step at a time.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, writing, and following Liverpool FC.
