The overarching goal of my career is to play a role in enhancing the sustainability of human development. I believe that as a chemical engineer with my qualifications I have the opportunity to both develop and implement such sustainable technologies.

I am currently a Process engineer working at MBD energy, involved in commercialisation of Macroalgal bioremediation of prawn farm water and process development of natural Astaxanthin production from H. pluvialis.

Completed a PhD in Chemical engineering at The University Of Queensland, Australia. My PhD involved research conducted at both the School of Chemical engineering and the Advanced Water Management Centre.

PhD project involved design and implementation of a novel electrochemical sensor and control system for dissolved oxygen in algal cultures and developed a pre-treatment method to enhance methane yields for anaerobic digestion of algal biomass.
