Philip is currently in a leadership role with a Global Energy Company. He has served in a number of general management, strategy, sales and marketing and business development positions since joining in 1998, with assignments based in London, UK and Hong Kong, China. He served as the Chairman of the company's Hong Kong Enterprise and also chaired the American Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong) China Business Committee. Philip has an outstanding track record of achievements in strategy development, brand management, and international marketing in three world-class corporations. He is an internationalist with global perspectives acquired through working and living in the US, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. He is a strategic thinker with proven ability in start-ups, and business turnarounds in challenging environments. Over the course of his career, he has been awarded numerous Marketing awards, including the 1998 Marketing Institute of Singapore's Marketing Excellence Award, the 1997 J&J; Festival of International TV Advertising’s Bellringer Award for originality, memorability and effective execution (for the China market), and the Singapore Airlines' Marketing Ideas-In-Action Award for ingenuity and innovation. He has a Master's in International Management from the University of California, San Diego (USA), Bachelor of Social Sciences (magna cum laude) in Political Science, and Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore. He has also participated in a number of Executive Development Programs in recent years, including the Senior Executive Program in Asia at the University of Michigan, the International Seminar for Top Executives at IMD, Switzerland and the International Executive Program at INSEAD.
