Philip McMahon

I'm currently completing the Masters year of my 4 year degree program at Bristol University. Last semester I completed units in areas including Cloud Computing, Sustainability, Computer Architecture and Systems Security. This semester I'll be working on a project in partnership with Bristol Energy Network to produce a pledge application to encourage people to make retrofit energy improvements to their homes.

I spent last year on an Erasmus exchange in Strasbourg which was a fantastic experience, leaving me with a high standard of spoken French.

I have thorougly enjoyed my degree so far, in particular the practical programming aspects, and look forwards to a career in software development.

Outside of the madness of my final year studies my hobbies include running, yoga and student activism.
