I work independently with authors, agents, and publishers to write or rewrite, shape, and edit book proposals and manuscripts. With an editorial career spanning more than 20 years at Random House (US and Canada), Simon and Schuster, and in academic publishing, I've worked on virtually every genre of nonfiction. I have particular expertise in bringing along first time authors and working with experts to express their ideas to a general audience.
