Philip Gosselin is a recording and mixing engineer based in Montreal, Canada.
He prides himself in his capacity to outline the driving elements of a project and to capture the key creative characteristics the project needs to transcend. He has an advanced technical background, well proven recording and mixing skills, and has worked on numerous professional projects demonstrating his versatility as a sound engineer.
He studied electroacoustic music at Concordia University, completed a masters in sound recording at McGill University followed by a practicum at the Banff Centre. During his studies has specialized in studio and live concert recordings. Working as a freelance engineer, Philip has worked with several artists, including Half Moon Run, The Wooden Sky, Rococode, Coeur de Pirate, The Hellbound Hepcats and more. He also took part in the recording of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada’s 2013 album.
