Philip Ogley was born in Durham in the UK in 1974 and brought up in Leeds.

After graduating in Biology in 1996 he decided to travel. Since then he has lived and worked in many places and countries including Poland, Spain, Morocco, Venezuela, France, Australia and Greece.

He's worked as an English language teacher, a writer, a chef, an outdoor catering manager and groundsman.

His interests are cycling, writing, literature and travel. He currently lives in France where he is looking after a 17th century chateau.

He writes a blog called Blogley and he has just finished a collection of short stories called The Sunbed of Malcolm Todd (see buy my book button for more details)
