Hey, I’m Philippe.

I’m a Historian living in Bruxelles, Belgique. I am a fan of history, Security, and NTIC. I’m also interested in ISO.

I started my career as NCO in the Belgian Army spending most of my service in West Germany during the Cold War.

I've always been interested in contemporary history and this is what I'm studying.

After the Army, I have been manager in different private companies working on International Standard Organization systems for security and safety in industries (machineworks, pharmaceutical , food and defence).

Knowing the past is necessary in order to understand the present time, so this is why I learn the past most precisely the Resistance in Europe during WWII as well as the Allied Special Forces and the Shoah.

I'm actually standard bearer and one of the administrators of the Royale Union des Services de Renseignement et d'Action - ‘Koninklijke Unie der Inlichtings - en Actie Diensten (RUSRA-KUIAD) that is the association remembring the 18.716 Resistants of WWII that acted into 129 networks in Belgum during and after that period.
