Philip is a manufacturing process and product quality professional with extensive hands on experience in the manufacturing industry. He has worked with large & small organizations, some world class and others on their way. His experience is in materials such as ferrous and nonferrous metals, specialty alloys, metal powders, glass, blown foams, polymers, silicon wafers & polishing materials. He has worked with electromechanical assemblies and electrochemical materials such as those utilized in the microelectronic, surface mount, automotive and aerospace industries. He has hands on experience working in laboratory environments, surface mount facilities, cast shops, stamping houses, forge shops, machine shops, plating houses, large scale vehicle manufacturers, tier one automotive and aerospace suppliers. Many of these organizations utilize common processing and production techniques while others are incredibly unique, most certainly proprietary and some even considered more art than science. His practical experience in metallurgy, metrology and materials is complimented by a solid understanding of regulatory compliance; value added processing, supply chain management and systemic process improvement.
