Philip Diaz

i was born in San Jose, California. since then, i've lived in San Diego, Sacramento, Tempe AZ, England, and the Friuli region in Northern Italy, as well as all over the SF bay area. i currently live in Berkeley with my wife and two daughters.

i'm into digital art, cooking, baking, bicycling, electronic music, art photography, gardening, and playing with my kids. i play the flute and 5-string banjo. i'm a certified Permaculture Designer and do my best to live in a holistic, sustainable way, according to the Three Ethics of Permacuture: Care of the Earth, Care of People, and Setting limits to growth and consumption of resources.

lately i've really gotten into physical computing and computer-aided manufacturing, and am building my own CNC machines from scratch. i recently founded Delphinium Cheese Co., a farmstead cheese making business which will start selling to the public in the summer of 2011.
