“Smell the cheese often so you know when it is getting old” a line from one of my current favorite book- Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson. As a future teacher I have to remind myself of this often, since the world evolves daily, not only in the context of teaching but also when it comes to the individuals we are teaching. I do not believe in sticking to a place because it is comfortable, change should never be anything in your comfort zone. So whenever I get too comfortable I smell the cheese, this helps me see what can I improve in my life and work.
