Hi i’m Phillip James Thompson, but you can just call me Phil. I got married at age 20, have travelled to 31 different countries, been a world class acrobat, have three beautiful daughters and founded my own financial advice firm all by the time i was 28 (suffice to say i don’t like standing still).

I believe that we should not automatically accept social norms, in fact social norms are often ill-informed, wrong and should be challenged and is why i’m proud that my life’s journey to date has been far from normal, and I plan to keep it that way!

That is why my financial advice firm is dedicated to helping ambitious young professionals and young families live for the moment and prepare for the future. Our clients understand that to achieve all they want in life they need to be different, act different and build a great team around them. As the saying goes you are the average of the 5 people you surround yourself with . . . we aim to be one of those 5 for our clients.

I love all things personal finance, business, technology, social enterprise, leadership and how these can all be all interrelated. Oh, and i’m a big fan of that ancient dude Jesus Christ.
