Phil's current work: verifiable credentials and digital Identity, learning technologies and evidence of achievement, analytics, and the architecture of learning/work environments.
Phil is: 1) a Senior Fellow at Georgetown University's Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS). There he mentors graduate students, advises, and occasionally teaches in the Masters in Learning, Design & Technology
2) LER Network Facilitator for the T3 Innovation Network, US Chamber of Commerce Fdn) where supports digital credential projects nationwide
3) ASU Enterprise Technology Advisor to Information Security and Digital Trust on digital credentials and decentralized identifiers.
5) Founder of RHz Consulting, LLC., Inquire-Listen-Design-Prototype-Analyze-Repeat, passion projects home.
6) Former VP of the Society for Learning Analytics and Research (SoLAR)
Phil founded the Centre for Educational Innovation & Technology at at the University of Queensland & is an Honorary Professor at the Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation.
He is a lapsed biologist now learning scientist focused on emerging technologies, the cognitive interactions with them, & the spaces, physical and virtual wherein they occur.
He enjoys running, sailing and a good single malt scotch.
