Since leaving school in the 1970s I have worked in many industries and so many roles that I am a master at re-inventing myself.
I started out working in government service with the Defence Department but found that too stifling. In private industry I have worked as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Paymaster, and Bookkeeper. I returned to government service and trained as a Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nurse, worked for the Country Fire Authority as a Brigade Support Officer followed by working for the Justice Department as a Community Corrections Officer (Parole Officer). After a couple of years there I returned to business administration with the Department of Primary Industries.
In 1991, I did a Reiki course and within 3 years became a Reiki Teacher. I don't like the term 'Master' as it brings all type of issues around becoming a 'Guru' to others. I beleive Reiki is about living life to it's fullest in harmony with the Universal Life Force.
For four years I worked with a Registered Training Organisation teaching people to drive trucks and helping small business owners meet their occupational health & safety obligations.
For 2 years I again changed my identity and had been driving multi-combination trucks while getting my online business off the ground.
I believe that violence of any kind lowers your essential vibration and is detrimental to spiritual growth. This is why I work as a Security Office now, to protect those who are threatened with violence. With each person protected, it helps to raise the vibration of society as a whole.
The main thing I have learned is that you can be whatever you want to be and don't be afraid of change. Embrace it and flow with the current or else you'll drown.
I have worked with some truly great people including blue and white collar, artists, psychics, clairvoyants, and trance channels. I have met heroes, princes and princesses, kings and queens. I have also dealt with trolls, vampires and zombies.
Make friends with this dragon for change is inevitable!
